IntroCamp 2017

So from August 26 to September 1 I attended Denmark's Introcamp for all 160 exchange students. All together there were 17 countries represented. Canada, USA, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea, Lithuania, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Mexico and one more that I can't seem to remember at the moment. At this camp we learned the basis to the Danish language. Almost everyday we had 6 hours of Danish lessons. We also got to talk about life as a teen in Denmark. We all agreed that the one thing that we noticed is that we are treated as equals by both our teachers and host parents and that the overall relationship between teens and adults is different than anything that we're used to. At Introcamp we also visited the city Aarhus. It was so much fun! We went to the museum very briefly and then after that we got to explore the city. I went to a cafe with my friends and took towns of pictures because I'm pretty sure that Denmark is one of the most photogenic countries in the world (after Canada of course)

Overall Introcamp week was full of Danish lessons, exploring, and lots of dancing every single night. It was so much fun learning about other cultures along side Danish culture.
